The study tour to southern zone of Malaysia Prison institutions including Singapore Prison was held from 7th June to 11th June 2004. The study tour program is one of the requirements to fulfil the Diploma in Correctional Administration course. The purpose of the study tour is to observe and study the working system and the rehabilitation programs at the visited institutions. On 10th June 2004, we had the opportunity to visit the new Changi Prison at Changi, Singapore. This new Changi Prison was built according to cluster designed, which have an advantages of managing a lot of prisoners with less manpower and it's economical. We would like to wish 'Thank You' to Singapore Prison Service and to the staff of Changi Prison Cluster 'A' for their hospitality. The visit was fruitful and memorable to all of the course participants.
