Introduction

In 2002, a working arrangement with Correctional Services Academy of NSW Australia was established by The INSEMA Group to provide training to prison staff. The first program that was introduced was a Diploma in Correctional Administration. The New South Wales Corrective Service Academy is a registered Training Organization (RTO), providing correctional training to national and international standards. The Academy plays a key role in the Department of Corrective Service’s vision to provide a correctional system which is recognized for excellence, by working in conjunction with universities and other educational organizations to provide training and educational programs that meet the challenges of the corrections environment - for today and for the future. The Academy also offers nationally accredited training in management, leadership, first aid, occupational safety, workplace assessment and information technology training. Located at Brush Farm, EASTWOOD, New South Wales, the Academy offers full equipped multimedia conferences facilities in an attractive park like setting.
This second intake session of 8 month fulltime course started on November 17, 2003 held in Prisons College of Malaysia in Kajang, Selangor. This course under supervision of Human Resources Division, Prisons Headquarters conducted in English language. This external course conducted by The INSEMA Group and day to day activity supervise by Consultant as a Program Coordinator. This is a second intake session involved 15 senior officers coming through out Malaysia.
