Course Assessment

Assessment for Module 1 to Module 9 is Assignment (30%) and Examination (70%). The assignment would be assessed in four areas;
  • Area 1 is worth 25 marks - Here the assignment would be assessed for the overall organization.
  • Area 2 is worth 15 marks - This area assesses how professional is the overall presentation of the assignment. Some of the things to watch out for are quality of paper used, neatness, layout, graphics and so forth.
  • Area 3 us worth 30 marks - This would reflect the amount of relevant research done and the ability to relate the information to the required task.
  • Area 4 is worth 30 marks - Amount of marks awarded would be determined by the equality of conclusion and recommendations made.
    The time allowed for the submission of the assignment is two weeks. There is no additional time allowance. There is a maximum of 100 marks available, the pass mark is 50 and participant must achieve at lease 50% in each of the four areas.
    The examination paper consist 50 multiple choice question, 20 true or false questions and 5 essays question. Time allocated is two hours.
    Module 10 assessment consist two sections. Section 1 is Oral Presentation (20%). The participant will have to present their dissertation to a panel of assessors (minimum 3 persons). Section 2 is a project paper (80%).
